WMRN Career

Tony Peterle began his professional broadcasting career in on-air positions in Ohio, including at WMRN in Marion. The Society of Broadcast Engineers' January 23, 2018, biography explicitly identifies WMRN and later Columbus stations WCOL/WXGT among those early on-air positions. Peterle subsequently built an extensive technical broadcasting career as engineer and broadcast equipment professional and served as an educational leader with the Society of Broadcast Engineers. The SBE profile does not establish exact WMRN employment years; his later chief-engineer roles occurred elsewhere and should not be attributed to WMRN.
