Robert C. Kanuth Jr. was a principal owner of WMRN-AM/FM during the 1980s through Sandance Corporation. An October 1980 FCC ownership notice published in Broadcasting described the proposed purchase of WMRN-AM/FM from Worth Kramer, listing Kanuth as the purchaser's 51% shareholder, alongside John P. Courtright Jr. and Donald B. Shackleford. Later trade coverage names Kanuth among sellers of WMRN in the 1986 sale to Burbach Broadcasting. This is an ownership role, not evidence that he was an on-air employee.
