A January 8, 1945, Broadcasting announcement reports that Eric Paige joined WMRN as an announcer. A December 1945 staff notice again identifies Paige as a WMRN announcer, and the 1947 Broadcasting Yearbook lists him as station program manager. These records document both announcing and programming-management roles in the mid-1940s.
