The recording was preserved from a cassette labeled “Mike Wilson Air Check” and dated June 7, 1998. The cassette was supplied by Mike Wilson on loan to the WMRN Radio History Archive for preservation and digitization.

Digitization and Preservation

The cassette was digitized by the WMRN Radio History Archive in September 2026. Archival master, preservation-edit, and public-access copies were created so the original recording can be preserved while an appropriate listening copy is made available to researchers and the public.

The original cassette remains the source object for this accession, with the digital files maintained as part of the archive’s audiovisual preservation collection.
