 WMRN-FM Reception Verification Letter to David F. Thomas (WMRN-2026-069) is a 
correspondence and reception-verification accession associated with WMRN-FM engineering
records, preserved within the WMRN Engineering and Reception Reports Collection.
Dated August 12, 1953, the letter verifies David F. Thomas's reception report for
WMRN-FM.  The letter appears on WMRN and Marion Broadcasting Co. letterhead and 
describes WMRN-FM's May 6, 1953 operation, including 106.9 Mc, channel 295, and 
25,000 watts effective radiated power. It documents the station's FM service shortly
after launch.
