Description

This record documents the existence of lacquer transcription discs used to record a broadcast performance by the Galion Concert Band on WMRN radio. Photographic evidence of the original disc labels and associated materials indicates that the broadcast occurred on December 18, 1953.

The original lacquer discs themselves are no longer known to exist. However, surviving photographic documentation preserves key identifying information, including the broadcast date and the musical selections listed on the disc labels.
